Introduction

Without compromising the value or history of Pride Month or Pride Month, it is time to focus on what is important every day. It is impossible and even irresponsible to limit ourselves to just one month a year. On this page, read why every day is Pride month.

First, it is a break from the trend. The trend by which so many companies, organisations, institutions and even political parties make attempts to show some engagement during a month or an event. Under the name De Goede Huisvader (English translation: The Good Stay-at-home Dad), I did everything possible to show and apply commitment towards LGBTQIA+ (or whatever abbreviation you wish to use). Therefore, even then, I came up with the idea of coming up with a long-term campaign starting after Pride Month 2022. Every day was to be about acceptance, empowerment and respect. Where others stopped, I continued and continued to do so.

Yeah, these are pretty words on a screen.

What does it really mean?

At the time, I offered hosting solutions under the name De Goede Huisvader Webservices. The general terms and conditions clearly stated what you could and could not do. You will still find these in the current general terms and conditions. Even now, I am responsible for website management and may intervene if I notice things are not right.

If there are hate messages, of course, I cannot remove things. I can, however, terminate a contract. Moreover, I have a strict policy when it comes to who I do and do not want to count among my clients.

In addition, I enjoy helping others. With advice and with opportunities to spread a message, where others might disrupt or otherwise make this impossible. There is an important rule here: we will work it out together when it comes to finances. Remember that the first 15 minutes of a consultation are always free of charge. For charities and non-profit organisations, I work with reduced rates.
